I'M TRICIA WILL

I started this blog as a form of self expression, as a creative outlet. It's a place to marry my love of CrossFit and all things health and fitness with my love of writing.

Never Stop Growing.

About Me

I grew up traveling, a sexy way to say "moving", from state to state, country to country, house to house, about once every year. I'm an Air Force brat. My first language was German and my first best friend was Saskia.

I own a CrossFit gym in Tampa, Florida and I love all things health and fitness. In addition to being a novice blogger, I'm a mom of two amazing little humans and a wife to a man that I've loved and shared my life with for over a decade. I'm fervent about CrossFit, writing, self discovery and stepping outside of my comfort zone.

My Writing

I have known for as long as I can remember that I love writing, but it wasn't until I started a consistent practice of journaling that I discovered I would do it in the form of a blog. My goal in my writing here is to educate on important health and fitness topics as well as to entertain. My writing is weaved with personal stories with a creative edge that I hope captures my readers. Here is where I will teach myself how to be vulnerably open about who I am and who I want to be become. This is my Sea of Potential.

CrossFit

There are many reason why I love CrossFit. In trying to distill it down to one main point, I find myself coming back to this: consistently doing CrossFit leads to profound individual growth. The kind of growth that, if allowed, can be astonishing.

As adults, there is very little else in our daily lives that continually offers an opportunity to acquire an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of one's own mind. Specifically, the kind of knowledge that leads to answers to some of life's most important questions. Questions, for example, like what is holding me back, what am I afraid of, can I really do this, how do I react under stress, how do I overcome challenges and can I become the person to whom I am meant to become? Knowing the answers to these questions has a tidal wave effect, positively impacting so many things, confidence being top among them.

I've been doing CrossFit for the better part of my adult life and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, I would not be who I am today without it. It's so much more than a way to get strong and lose weight. It's a lifestyle that pushes mental and physical boundaries, all the while being surrounded by others who are doing the same. CrossFit is community. It's higher confidence, it's better relationships, better sex and better parenting. It's more energy, increased longevity and better health. It's just better.
